Brian Myers -
Senior Pastor
I’m an MK, the son of bestselling authors and Navigator missionaries, Warren and Ruth Myers. My mother led me to Christ at the age of five, whereupon, she said, I resigned as ringleader of the neighborhood gang. I was born in Taiwan and have lived in Hong Kong, the Philippines and Singapore, where I went to High School. This has given me cultural sensitivity that has helped tremendously in ministering within the unique cultures of each church I’ve pastored. Prior to entering the ministry, I had broad experience that gives me a good understanding of real people and of the work-a-day world, as a Merchant Marine Sailor, an Offshore Oil Rig Roustabout, a Lumber Yard Hand, a Commissioned Salesman, a City Directory Canvasser, a Temporary Services Secretary, and a dishwasher. Julie and I met while I was at Trinity Seminary and she was at Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois, majoring in Psychology and Bible. We’ve been an inseparable team for forty years, serving Independent Bible, Independent Evangelical, Presbyterian and Converge congregations.
Brooks Buckwalter -
Congregational Care Pastor
Brooks grew up in Tennessee and graduated from Western Kentucky University. She and her husband Jeff have raised 3 beautiful children, who are now grown and on their own. She earned her Master of Divinity with a Chaplaincy concentration at Denver Seminary in May 2012. She loves the process of walking with people, along with Jesus, on the road of real life. She also loves hiking and biking through God’s beautiful creation.
Suzanne Bothner - Office Coordinator
Suzanne is our Office Coordinator as she is so much more than just a secretary. She is married to Ray, and they enjoy their grown children and six grand children. She has been faithful to Lookout for going on 20 years.
