Our Leadership

I’m an MK, the son of bestselling authors and Navigator missionaries, Warren and Ruth Myers. My mother led me to Christ at the age of five, whereupon, she said, I resigned as ringleader of the neighborhood gang. I was born in Taiwan and have lived in Hong Kong, the Philippines and Singapore, where I went to High School. This has given me cultural sensitivity that has helped tremendously in ministering within the unique cultures of each church I’ve pastored. Prior to entering the ministry, I had broad experience that gives me a good understanding of real people and of the work-a-day world, as a Merchant Marine Sailor, an Offshore Oil Rig Roustabout, a Lumber Yard Hand, a Commissioned Salesman, a City Directory Canvasser, a Temporary Services Secretary, and a dishwasher. Julie and I met while I was at Trinity Seminary and she was at Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois, majoring in Psychology and Bible. We’ve been an inseparable team for forty years, serving Independent Bible, Independent Evangelical, Presbyterian and Converge congregations.
