HOW CAN I GET
PLUGGED IN AT LMCC?

That’s a little like asking, “How can I find a spouse and live happily ever after?” The Church is a living organism inhabited by the Spirit of God. I’m sure Jesus has a million ways to set you up for a lifelong, meaningful relationship with Himself through His people. As a staff, we’re a lot like a matchmaking service fumbling around with mysteries and purposes far beyond us.

We want to help you get connected but remind you to keep your heart and eyes open. Pray that God would bump you into the people He desires. Don’t wait for others to greet you; just greet them (they’re probably waiting for you!). What a ridiculous tragedy if everyone’s “thought bubbles” at church read, “Gee, no one has said ‘hi’ to me this morning.”

Well, having said that, we have all sorts of ways to get you involved. We ask each person who calls LMCC home to be involved in two things:

1. Worship Each WeekendRomance of God
In corporate worship we are coordinated and connected the way dancers are coordinated by song. The song is the Spirit. The dancer is you. We ask everyone who calls LMCC home to commit to weekly corporate worship.

2. Join a Small GroupCommunion of Saints
The Church is a body “knit together by every joint with which it is supplied” (Eph. 4:16). We ask everyone who calls LMCC home to commit to some form of Small Group. A Small Group consists of 6-12 people who meet regularly for:

  • Grace: Sharing our lives through prayer
  • Growth: Committing to some kind of biblical study
  • Goofing off: Having fun

To join a Small Group, contact our Small Group Coordinator, Fran Eckhardt at .feckhardt@lomcc.org

OTHER WAYS YOU
CAN GET INVOLVED…

3. Attend one of our four core curriculum classes taught by our pastorsRenewal of Mind

  • welcome to LMCC
  • christian discipleship
  • what we believe
  • contagious christian course

4. Find one of a thousand ways to serve—
Sacrifice of Self

You’ll notice these four steps are the practical application of what we feel called to as a church: Romance, Communion, Renewal, and Sacrifice.

However, Christ is always the reality, and your honest surrender to Him is what Real Church looks like. When that happens, you’re not just part of a program; you are the Living Body of Christ.

I’m grateful to God that you are interested in LMCC. I’m grateful, but He died to make you His own Body.
