When it comes to family, people often
say that “blood is thicker than water.” This is never
more true than with the common relationships that we share through
the blood of Jesus Christ! As believers in Christ, His very life
dwells within us and allows us to form family ties that last for
eternity.
Small Groups
A primary way to join the LMCC family is to join a Small Group.
Small Groups provide a place where we learn to love God with our
heart, mind and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
We learn to open up our lives, support one another through difficult
life circumstances, forgive each other in conflicts, and speak
the truth in love. Our hope is that each small group becomes like
a cell in the larger body of Christ
What are Small Groups?
Within the church at LMCC, there are smaller groups of Christian
friends (six to fifteen people) that meet together regularly.
They are the “church” for each other in a more intimate
setting. Our hope is that each small group becomes like a cell
in the larger body of Christ.
Members of a small group share their
lives with one another in the light of God’s grace. They
care for each other in practical ways such as visiting when one
is sick or helping someone move. They may also occasionally serve
the body at large through one of our church ministries or local
outreaches.
What do Small Groups do when they
meet?
While each group may have a different focus, all groups are committed
to three things during their meeting times:
